ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – Augustana men's lacrosse (4-2) will hit the road this weekend for another non-conference tilt. The Vikings will visit Alma College on Saturday, Mar. 26.

Alma enters the weekend with a 3-4 overall record. Like Augustana, the Scots have yet to play any conference matches this season. In their most recent match, Alma defeated Heidelberg University on Mar. 19 by a 12-1 score. The Scots' decisive victory over Heidelberg snapped a three-game losing skid.

Anar Tumurbaatar leads the Scots' offensive attack with 26 total points including a dozen goals and 14 assists. Other key offensive players include Haden Johnson with a team-high 16 goals and Ezra Leppanen with 15 scores.

On defense, Byron Weber and Paul Heuschele have been forces with a combined 57 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers.

The Scots have featured three goalkeepers this season with two primary players in net. Thomas Burns has played the most minutes in goal for Alma with 46 goals allowed and 48 saves. Parker Macco has played just over half the amount of minutes that Burns has, but boasts similar percentages with 21 goals allowed and 29 saves.

Augustana and Alma have faced off on two previous occasions dating back to the 2012 season. The Vikings have won all three bouts including a 10-8 triumph in the most recent game.
