ROCK ISLAND, Ill. -- Alec McGinnis of Augustana Baseball has been named to the d3baseball.com Team of the Week following his performance over this past weekend.

McGinnis batted .714 (5-for-7) for the Vikings against Loras and Illinois College in Jacksonville, helping the team split a pair of games that included a 16-1 victory over SLIAC preseason favorite Illinois College. He scored three runs with four RBIs and had a double and two home runs. He handled seven chances without a bobble.

This is Augustana's second player in as many weeks to earn Team of the Week honors as McGinnis joins Matt Ozanic as the other recipient this year.
