BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- Daniel Carr of Augustana Vikings men's basketball has been named to the D3hoops.com preseason All-American Team, the publication announced Friday morning.

Carr, a senior from Highlands Ranch, Colo., earned D3hoops.com All-Region during his junior campaign in 2021-22 to go along with his First Team All-CCIW selection. Carr appeared and started in all 26 games last season, averaging a double double at 14.7 points and 13.6 rebounds per game. He shot 47 percent from the field and 34 percent from behind the arc. Carr posted single-game highs of 28 points (at Illinois Wesleyan) and 24 rebounds (at Carthage) last year.

Carr was named to the D3hoops.com Fourth Team as one of two CCIW student-athletes to appear on one of the five preseason teams.
