ROCK ISLAND -- The Augustana men's soccer team will return home to Thorson-Lucken Field for their Senior Night on Saturday, October 15 when they host UW-Whitewater.

Augie was defeated by Elmhurst 3-1 on the road Wednesday, dropping to 0-10-2 on the season. The Vikings tallied eight total shots, connecting with the back of the net once off the foot of Valdemar Nihlen . Goalkeeper metrics in the contest were split evenly between Benjamin Samuelson and Frankie Baio, with both registering five individual saves and each playing a half. 

UW-Whitewater enters the matchup 9-4-1 on the year, having not dropped a game in their last five matchups. Augustana trails UW-Whitewater in the all-time series 3-11-3, and lost their last matchup against the Warhawks in 8-0 fashion (2021).

Augustana has six seniors being recognized on Saturday evening including: Ryan Bobrowski, Mauricio Cruz, Austin Carr, Hunter Fitzwater, Eirik Andersen, and Niko Ragano.
