ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – Augustana women's soccer will host the Wheaton College Thunder tomorrow night for a CCIW match.  The Vikings and Thunder will kick off at 7:00 P.M. from Thorson-Lucken Field.
 
The Vikings enter the mid-week game with a 4-3 overall record and a 1-0 mark in league play after taking down Carroll last weekend. Previously, Carroll held on to the best non-CCIW record in the conference.
 
Liesel Whitener, who scored the overtime goal to beat Carroll, and Savanna Birkey lead the Vikings in total points with four each. Whitener is one of three key attackers for Augie with 14 shots and five shots on goal. Kayla Garcia has been the most aggressive shooter with 17 total shots, eight of which have been on target. Anna Bross has also sought scoring with 13 shots and nine shots on goal.
 
Janey Castoe has been the only keeper to play in goal for Augustana this season. She's allowed a total of nine goals, which averages to 1.27 per game. Casote's save percentage is just over 80%.
 
The Thunder are coming into tomorrow's contest riding a two-game losing streak after dropping a home match against Calvin University and a road game at Washington in St. Louis, both by margins of 2-0. Overall, Wheaton is 2-5-1 and has yet to play a CCIW match.
 
Sophie Lindquist leads Wheaton in points with five and is tied with Grace Hermanson for most goals on the team this year with two. Lindquist is fourth on the team in shots with 10, half of which have been on target. Despite just netting one goal so far, Sara Bakke has been the primary catalyst for the Thunder offense. Bakke has recorded 25 shots and 13 of those attempts have been on goal. Audrey Sexson and Tori Seeland have also been aggressive with 11 shots each.
 
Lauren Ketchum has been the primary goalkeeper for Wheaton. Shes started every game so far and has recorded a save percentage of 80.6%. Ketchum has allowed 13 scores while saving 54 other attempts.
