ROCK ISLAND, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings baseball 2022 schedule has been announced and is now available for viewing.

The Vikings begin the new year with a string of neutral-site contests at the Rhodes College Classic in Memphis, Tenn. The team will take on Concordia-Chicago in the season opener, followed by Webster on day two of tournament. On February 20, Augie will face Fontebonne at USA Stadium in Millington, Tenn.

Augustana's first true road game will come at Illinois College on February 27. This will come before heading down to Florida for the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic. Matchups and participating teams are still yet to be announced. The Vikings last competed in the Gene Cusic Classic back in 2019, where they went 2-1-1. The Vikings come back to Rock Island on March 9 for their home opener against Knox. It will be the first of three straight at home before heading back to the state of Florida for a week-long tournament at the RussMatt Invitational. Matchups for that will be announced at a later date.

The Vikings kick off the CCIW slate on April 2 with a three-game road series at Carroll. The home opener for league play will be Tuesday, April 5 against Carthage. The CCIW Tournament is schedule to begin May 11.
