ROCK ISLAND, Ill. -- The 2022 schedule for the Augustana Vikings women's water polo team has been released as they get ready to compete in their inaugural season.

The Vikings will begin the season on the road in Lebanon, Ill. on February 12th to take on McKendree. The team will then compete in two invitationals with matchups and start times to be decided at a later date. The first will take place in Saint Paul, Minn. at the Macalester Invite, followed by a trip out west to Claremont, Calif. for a two-day outing.

Augustana's first home game in the Anne Greve Lund Natatorium will be on March 12th when they host McKendree. It will be the first of two home games for the Vikings this season, with the other coming on April 2nd against Carthage. Augie will also have a trip to Springfield, Ohio and Kenosha, Wis. where they will play a number of neutral-site contests as well as the host schools Wittenberg and Carthage. The 2022 CWPA DIII Championships are held in Grove City, Pa. beginning on April 21st.

The Vikings will be led by first-year head coach Ryan Pryor.
