ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Augustana women's soccer team will welcome Coe College to Rock Island for a non-conference match tomorrow night. The Vikings and Kohawks will face off at Thorson-Lucken Field at 5:00 P.M.
Augustana enters the game with a 6-5 overall record and a 3-3 mark in non-CCIW games. The Vikings were victorious in their last contest, a 1-0 win at Carthage.
Coe brings a 2-8-1 overall mark into the mid-week match. The Kohawks are 1-7-1 in non-conference matches.
Amanda Hiebert leads Coe in points with seven followed by Lauren Dufoe with six, and Alisan Hoffman with five. Hiebert and Dufoe each have a team-high three goals on the season. Despite the top-three point scorers leading the goals category, two other players have been most aggressive for Coe. Ella Weber and Brianna Ellsworth lead the team with 17 and 12 shots, respectively. 10 of Weber's 17 attempts have been on target.
Alex Montalbano has been the primary goalkeeper for Coe with nearly 800 minutes logged. Montlbano has allowed 15 goals on the season and made 48 saves for a .762 save percentage.
Coe leads the all-time series against Augustana 1-0-1. The lone Kohawk victory came in the 2018 season while the most recent match in 2019 resulted in a draw.
