2020 Knut Erickson Award
Seniors Mia Lambert (Macomb HS, Macomb, Ill.) and Bryson Adcock (Iowa City West HS, North Liberty, Iowa) were named the recipients of the Knut Erickson award at Augustana in 2020. Lambert, a member of the women's basketball team, and Adcock, a member of the football team, earned this honor by having the highest cumulative grade point averages among the rest of the school's senior blanket award winners.

To receive a varsity "A" letter blanket, an athlete must participate in their sport for four years and must letter in at least three of those years. In total, 78 seniors received the blanket award at the end of the 2019-20 school year.

A double major in pre-medicine and classics, Lambert earned three separate College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Academic All-Conference awards from 2017 to 2020. She ended her academic career at Augustana with a grade point average of 3.97.

Lambert's athletic career was just as impressive. She is the school's all-time record holder for single season 3-points made with 63 during her senior year. She also ranks second all-time for career 3-point field goal percentage with an average of .373 and sixth all-time for career 3-point field goals made with 101. The 5'9" guard was also named team captain and co-MVP for the 2019-20 season.

Adcock was a CCIW Academic All-Conference selection both his junior and senior year. He double majored in applied mathematics and computer science and ended his academic career with a 3.94 grade point average. The 6'1" defensive back made the Dean's List nine separate times during his four years at Augustana.

The annual ceremony for the blanket award winners, which is normally held in the Gerber Center in early May, was cancelled due to Covid-19.
