Alexis Jones averaged 13.6 points per game in her junior season in
2018-19 for the Vikings.

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. — Coming off of a 14-12 season, the Augustana women's basketball team will try to finish with a winning record for the fourth year in a row in 2019-20. Before last season, the Vikings hadn't had three consecutive winning seasons since 2001-04. Head coach Mark Beinborn's team went 8-8 in College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin play in 2018-19, which was good enough for a fourth place finish and a berth in the CCIW Tournament.

This year's non-conference schedule will begin when Augustana hosts the inaugural Hyatt Place Tournament on November 8-9, which includes the season opener against Benedictine. The following weekend the Vikings will travel to Dubuque, Iowa to play in the Loras College Tip-Off on November 15-16. Before beginning CCIW play, Augustana will play at UW-Whitewater on November 20, at home against Dubuque on November 23, and at home against Webster on November 30.

The Vikings begin the CCIW schedule by playing three conference games in December. The conference opener is a road contest at the defending regular season conference champion Wheaton on December 4. Augustana will host Carroll on December 7 and the 2018-19 CCIW Tournament champions Illinois Wesleyan on December 15.

The Vikings finish up the 2019 portion of their schedule with a pair of non-conference match-ups at Monmouth on December 17 and at home against Coe on December 30.

Augustana starts the new year back in the CCIW by playing three of its first four games on the road, including traveling to Kenosha, Wisconsin to play Carthage on January 4. The Vikings finish the regular season with four of their last six games at the Carver Center. Senior Night is the final game of the 2019-20 regular season against North Park on February 22.

The CCIW Tournament is February 25-29 with the top six teams in the conference standings qualifying.
