ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The winter weather in the Midwest has wreaked havoc with collegiate schedules in January and the cold snap invading the Quad Cities this week has forced a time change in Augustana women's basketball. Head coach Mark Beinborn's  team will play Elmhurst on Thursday, January 31 in the Carver Center but the tip-off time has been altered. Instead of playing at 7:00 p.m. the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin battle between the Vikings and the visiting Bluejays has been moved up to 5:30 p.m. The junior varsity game, which was scheduled for 4:30 p.m., has been canceled and will not be made up. Augustana is 11-9 overall and 5-6 in the CCIW while Elmhurst is 8-11 and 4-6. The two teams met back on January 2 in Elmhurst and the Vikings came away with a 70-64 victory.
