Colorado College jumped on top 6-1 in set one behind two Haley Harris kills. Augustana battled back to tie it at 7-7 on a Grace Bialobok (Homewood-Flossmoor HS, Homewood, Ill.) kill, but the Tigers captured eight of the next nine points to take a 15-8 lead. The Viking would get no closer than five points the rest of the way and set point in a 25-18 CC win came on a kill by Margo Spaethling.

The Tigers led from the get-go in game two as well. They took the lead for good at 3-2 on an Augustana attack error. A Rachel Krutz service ace gave the Tigers their biggest lead of the set at 20-10 and a Harris kill finished off s 25-16 CC win.

The Vikings led early in a 25-23 fourth-set win. A Sierra Erke (Quincy HS, Quincy, Ill.) kill broke a 2-2 tie and Augustana would lead until the Tigers pulled even at 17-all. An Aria Dudley kill gave CC its first lead of the game (18-17) and there were ties at 18, 19, 20 and 23 before a kill by Bialobok gave the Vikings a 24-23 advantage. Set point came on a Tiger attack error. Bialobok had a half-dozen kills in the game, while senior Emily Uglem (Moorhead HS, Moorhead, Minn.) added four and Erke three.

Isabella Vasquez's kill snapped a 4-4 tie in set four and CC led the rest of the way in cruising to a 25-17 win. Lizzy Counts delivered match point with a kill off a set from Harris.

Bialobok had a match-high 14 kills and Erke added 11. Senior McKenzie Zambrano (Rock Island HS, Rock Island, Ill.) had 21 assists, one more than freshman Olivia Doak (Crystal Lake Central HS, Crystal Lake, Ill.). Junior Madi Glatz led Augustana with 17 digs and senior Taryn VanEarwage (Rock Island HS, Rock Island, Ill.) chipped in with 11. VanEarwage and Zambrano each had a pair of aces.

CC was led by Vasquez's 13 kills. Counts had 39 assists and four Tigers reached double figures in digs.
