Flores gave his side the lead in the 27th minute, taking Jared Collier's long pass from the right side and beating keeper
Jeff Bell (Pleasant Valley HS, Bettendorf, Iowa).
Augustana was able to keep the deficit at 1-0 going to halftime despite North Central getting off 13 shots in the first 45 minutes, including six that were put on frame. The Vikings put three of four shots on goal in the opening half.
Flores tallied his 10th goal of the season in minute 52 to make it 2-0 Cardinals. Collier was credited with another assist, as was Gavin Sanchez.
The final goal of the night came in the 71st minute. North Central's Austin Lombardi scored off an assist from Jack Bullard.
The Cardinals put 13 of their 23 shots on frame to six of nine for Augustana. Bell recorded 10 saves, while North Central's Marco Soto stopped six shots. Corners were 5-1 in favor of the visitors. Each side was whistled for 11 fouls, with the Vikings assessed three cautions and the Cardinals two.
