The Vikings won their ninth straight game to improve to 10-1 on the year and 1-0 in the CCIW. The host Titans suffered just their second loss in 12 games and are now 0-1 in the league.

Emily Handrahan (Lake Zurich HS, Hawthorn Woods, Ill.) scored off a Mayer assist 12 seconds in to give Augustana a 1-0 lead. Junior
Anne Hopkins (Mother McAuley HS, Chicago, Ill.) had three goals and Nolan and senior
Shelby Cosman (Marian Catholic HS, St. John, Ind.) two each as the Vikings jumped in front 8-0 with less than 12 minutes gone.
IWU's Maggie Kraus got her tem on the board with a free position goal at the 15:27 mark of the first half. Nolan and freshman
Christina McCabe (Maine South HS, Park Ridge, Ill.) scored for Augustana before Sam Bidlack's free position goal for the Titans wrapped up the first-half scoring.

Meredith Newman's squad went to the locker room with a 10-2 lead.
Mayer scored three times in the second half and Nolan twice, with senior
Kendall Maduro (Neuqua Valley HS, Naperville, Ill.) tallying Augustana's other goal. A Mayer goal with 10:25 to play completed the afternoon's scoring. Hopkins and Handrahan each had two assists in the second stanza.
Sophomore
Analia Fowler (York HS, Elmhurst, Ill.) went the first 43 minutes in goal and earned her 10th win in as many decisions. Senior
Jenna Hofmann (Columbine HS, Littleton, Colo.) and sophomore
Madalynne Russell (Noblesville HS, Noblesville, Ind.) finished up, playing seven and 10 scoreless minutes, respectively.
In addition to Nolan's five goals, Mayer had three, along with a game-high three assists. Hopkins contributed three goals and two assists, Cosman two goals and Handrahan a goal and two assists.
