By the end of the half, the Vikings had a 5-2 advantage in shots and a 7-0 edge in corners, but trailed 1-0 on the scoreboard.

Less than five minutes later, Martin Zafirov scored Monmouth's third goal. Zafirov's tally tied him with Seeley for team lead.
Augustana freshman
Matthew Allen (Batavia HS, Batavia, Ill.) prevented the shutout, scoring his third goal of the season in the 88th minute. His side played without leading scorer and reigning CCIW Offensive Player of the Week

The Vikings outshot their hosts by an 11-6 margin and 6-5 in shots on goal. Augustana also had a 10-1 advantage in corners for the match.
Goalkeepers
Corey Mankins (Marysville HS, Marysville, Ohio) and Chase Stroud recorded two and five saves for the Vikings and Scots, respectively.
