The Vikings dropped to 3-6-1 on the year, while the Pioneers improved to 4-2-3.

Shonari Phillips (Tindley HS, Indianapolis, Ind.), who chipped his shot over Platteville keeper Scott Sibik for his second goal of the season.
UWP countered just a minute and a half later. Andrew Muchowski's blast from 25 yards straight on leveled the match. The teams went to the halftime break tied 1-1.
In the 54th minute, the Pioneers took advantage of an Augustana foul just to the right of the box to take a 2-1 lead. Lucas Alpin finished the sequence off with a header, while Brad Stroble was credited with the assist.
Six minutes later, the visitors extended the advantage to 3-1. Augustana keeper
Matt Hesch (St. Edward HS, Elgin, Ill.) was called for a foul in the box and Jon Stopple converted the penalty kick low and to Hesch's right.
Nick Hoklas scored Platteville's final goal of the afternoon, putting his side up 4-1 with an assist from Keith Baerwald.
Viking sophomore
Aaron Jones (Woodstock North HS, Wonder Lake, Ill.) scored off an
Anthony D'Angelo (Stevenson HS, Buffalo Grove, Ill.) assist in the last minute to account for the final.
UWP held a 16-4 edge in shots and took the match's only corner. Hesch recorded four saves in his second start of the year. Phillips' goal was the only shot that Sibik faced on the afternoon.
