Box Score
ATLANTA, Ga. – It took 28th-ranked Augustana just 14 seconds to get on the scoreboard and the Vikings had their second goal before the game was a minute old Sunday as Coach Sara Tisdale's squad cruised to a 21-1 win at Oglethorpe. Augustana improved to 2-0 on the year, while the Stormy Petrels slipped to 0-6.
Sophomore
Rebecca Pollard (Westfield HS, Carmel, Ind.) used an assist from junior

After
Emily Handrahan (Lake Zurich HS, Hawthorn Woods, Ill.) scored to make it 6-0, Kargl picked up the scorer's mantle, registering three of the Vikings' next four goals. Eventually, Pollard's third score of the half, with an assist from sophomore
Kendall Maduro (Neuqua Valley HS, Naperville, Ill.), sent Augustana to the locker room with a 15-0 halftime lead.
Kargl assisted on another Cosman goal to open the second half and then scored herself off a Handrahan assist to extend the lead to 17-0. With 26:15 remaining, Sydney Sparks scored Oglethorpe's only goal.
Kargl and Cosman each finished with four goals to lead the Vikings and Kargl tied a school record with five assists. Handrahan had three goals and two assists, while Pollard and freshman
Annie Hopkins (Mother McAuley, Chicago, Ill.) also had three goals apiece.
