Freshman Grace Iaquinta led Augustana with three shots in the Vikings 4-0 loss at
seventh ranked Wheaton on Wednesday, October 29.WHEATON, Ill. – After playing fairly even for a half, Augustana fell to a second half onslaught by Wheaton and dropped a 4-0 decision to the Thunder in College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin action on Wednesday, October 29 in Wheaton, Illinois. Wheaton broke open a close game with three goals in a little over 16 minutes.
The Thunder scored its first goal 36 minutes into the game (36:01) when Ally Witt tallied on assists by Anna Seabolt and Anna Burnridge.
At halftime, with the score just 1-0, the statistics were fairly even with both teams having eight shots although Wheaton had the advantage in corner kicks by 5-2.
In the second half, however, Wheaton scored three times between 54:32 and 70:48 to break things wide open. Kristin Rauh scored at 54:32 off an assist from Bailey Wysocki to make it 2-0. Wysocki scored at 69:55 with Sarah Guidera getting the assist and Sydney Sharkey ended the onslaught at 70:48 with a goal off an assist from Alexa Sharkey.
Wheaton ended the game with an 18-10 advantage in shots, including 10-2 in second 45 minutes. The Thunder also had an 8-2 edge in corner kicks.

Augustana is now 11-4-2 overall and 4-2-0 in the CCIW while Wheaton moves to 15-1-2 and 5-0-1.
