ROCK ISLAND, Ill. –The 18th-ranked Augustana soccer team moved to 6-0-2 on the year with a 3-0 whitewash of Greenville Saturday night at Thorson-Lucken Field. The Vikings posted their fourth consecutive shutout and are now unscored upon over the last 399 minutes of play.
Freshman
Jessa Rizzo (Fremd HS, Palatine, Ill.) got the Vikings on the board in the 13th minute, scoring her team-high fifth goal of the season off a feed from
Jessica Kras (Glenbard North HS, Carol Stream, Ill.). The assist was Kras' third of the year.

Stephanie Barr (Plainfield North HS, Plainfield, Ill.) received a pass from sophomore
Kelly Farell (St. Ursula Academy, Sylvania, Ohio) just outside the box and blasted a shot past Panther keeper Heidi Koehl for a 2-0 Augustana lead. The goal was Barr's first of the season, while Farell was credited with her team-high fifth assist.
Freshman
Hannah Lohmeier (Waunakee HS, Waunakee, Wis.) closed out the scoring with her fourth goal of the season. She headed in a pass from junior
Taylor Navarro (York HS, Elmhurst, Ill.) in the 52nd minute. The assist was number three on the year for Navarro.
The Viking defense was outstanding again, allowing the visitors just two shots in the game. It was the third time in the last four outings that
Maggie Hoscheit (St. Charles East HS, St. Charles, Ill.),
Kerri Skotnicki (Waubonsie Valley HS, Aurora, Ill.),
Kimberly Grimmer (Downers Grove South HS, Woodridge, Ill.),
Stef Hamaker (Boylan Catholic HS, Caledonia, Ill.) and company have allowed the opposition three or fewer shots. The Panthers' only shot on goal came off a free kick in the 28th minute.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Meredith Chew (Paradise Valley HS, Phoenix, Ariz.) played the first 80 minutes for Augustana and made one save. She has a current streak of 330 minutes in goal without being scored upon. Koehl recorded nine saves for Greenville.
The Vikings outshot Greenville 23-2 overall and 12-1 in shots on goal. The hosts took all eight corners in the match and overcame 18 offsides calls to get the win.
