Jessa Rizzo (Fremd HS, Palatine, Ill.) put Augustana on the board in the eighth minute, scoring her team-leading fourth goal of the season. Sophomore
Kelly Farell (St. Ursula Academy, Sylvania, Ohio) was credited with her third assist of the year on the play.
In the 14th minute, it was junior
Taylor Navarro (York HS, Elmhurst, Ill.) finding the back of the net for the third time this season off an assist from freshman
Kera Linn (Pleasant Valley HS, Bettendorf, Iowa). The assist was Linn's third, tying her with Farell for the Viking lead.

Meredith Chew (Paradise Valley HS, Phoenix, Ariz.) went the distance in goal for Mejia, recording a pair of saves and moving her record to 4-0-1 on the season.
Augustana outshout Principia 14-3 with a 6-2 edge in shots on goal. The Vikings took all five corners in the match.
Mejia's squad is back on the road on Sunday, September 15, facing Eureka in a 3:00 p.m. match.
