Despite missing one game, Westerberg again leads the Vikings in tackles with 53. His 7½ stops behind the line of scrimmage also lead the team. Cornerbacks Ben Fornek (Batavia HS, Batavia, Ill.) and Walker have four and three interceptions, respectively, and each has broken up six passes.

Carthage, under first-year Head Coach Mike Yeager, is currently 1-6 overall and 0-4 in the CCIW. The Red Men have lost three straight games to ranked teams, including a 72-20 loss at number four North Central this past Saturday.
