Box Score CHICAGO, Ill. – North Park scored a pair of goals midway through the first half en route to a 2-0 victory over Augustana on Friday, October 4 in Chicago, Illinois. With the defeat the Vikings fall to 4-4-1 overall and 0-1 in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin while North Park is now 7-3-1 and 1-0.
 
At the 20:23 mark Mike Herbst scored with an assist going to Fredrik Greiff to make it 1-0 in favor of North Park. The home went ahead 2-0 when Greiff scored at 33:52 with an assist going to Markus Fodstad.
 
The Vikings were outshot 20-9 in the match with sophomore Danny Campagna (Glenbard North HS, Carol Stream, Ill.) getting off three shots.
 
Junior Brett Johnson (Zion-Benton HS, Beach Park, Ill.) recorded eight saves in goal for the Vikings, who will play Simpson in a non-conference match on Monday, October 7 at Thorson-Lucken Field.
