Taylor Navarro (York HS, Elmhurst, Ill.) allowed Augustana to secure a 1-1 double overtime tie against 16
th ranked Wisconsin-Whitewater on Wednesday, October 30 in Whitewater, Wisconsin. With the tie the Vikings move to 12-3-4 on the season while the Warhawks stay unbeaten at 13-0-4.
Navarro's goal, which was her fifth of the season, leveled the game at 1-1 after the hosts scored a goal in the game's first five minutes to jump out to a quick 1-0 lead. Sarah Sedlar scored unassisted, getting a goal past Augustana goalkeeper

The match stayed that way at halftime with the score 1-0 in favor of the Warhawks before Navarro tallied early in the second period.
Augustana held a 15-11 advantage in shots and UW-Whitewater goalkeeper Jordan Myers was forced to make nine saves in the game while Chew had three for the Vikings. In the first half the Vikings outshot the home team 6-3 and held a 5-4 edge in the second 45 minutes. Both teams had three shots in the first overtime and one in the second.

Jessa Rizzo (Fremd HS, Palatine, Ill.) had the lead in shots for the Vikings with six, four of which were on goal.
The Vikings also held an 8-6 edge in corner kicks.
Augustana will close out the regular season on Saturday, November 2 with a 1:00 p.m. home game at Thorson-Lucken Field against Millikin. The Vikings need a victory to wrap up a spot in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin tournament, which will begin on Wednesday, November 6.
