ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – Augustana snapped a six match losing streak on Tuesday, October 29 with a convincing 3-0 victory over Benedictine at Thorson-Lucken Field. The Vikings broke out to a 2-0 lead en route to the victory over the reigning Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference champion Eagles.

Augustana held an 18-7 advantage in shots and a 4-3 edge in corners. 21 of the 34 fouls and three of the five red cards issued in the match went against the Eagles.
The Vikings wrap up the 2013 season on Saturday, November 2. Millikin will be the opponent on Senior Day at 3:30 p.m. at Thorson-Lucken Field.
