Jay Clark was hired in July of 2015 to join Augustana’s athletic training staff. A 2011 graduate of Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training, Clark will be working with the Viking men’s and women’s soccer, track & field and tennis programs.
In July 2023, Clark was promoted to Associate Athletic Trainer.
Clark owns a master’s degree in sports medicine and athletic training from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. Prior to coming to Augustana, he worked as a Physician Extender and Outreach Athletic Trainer at Midwest Orthopaedic Institute in Sycamore, Illinois and as an Assistant Athletic Trainer and Adjunct Instructor at Ferrum College in Ferrum, Virginia.
