Erica Ralfs joined the Augustana College softball program in 2025 as a Volunteer Assistant Coach, lending support across the program wherever needed and bringing a steady, positive presence to the staff. A Davenport, Iowa native, she is known for her energy, her connection with female athletes, and her ability to help players build confidence and consistency.
Ralfs played collegiately at St. Ambrose University, where she competed as both a utility player and a dominant pitcher. She graduated as the program’s all-time strikeout leader and earned First-Team All-Conference and All-Region honors her senior season.
Her coaching career began at Davenport Assumption High School, where she was part of two state championship runs and a state runner-up finish. In 2022, at just 21 years old, she became the youngest head softball coach in Iowa when she took over the Davenport West High School program. She is currently entering her fourth season leading the Falcons, while also teaching high school social studies and co-running the school’s strength and conditioning program. Ralfs is especially passionate about developing strong, empowered female athletes and helping them grow on and off the field.
At Augustana, she provides general support to the coaching staff and assists as needed—particularly with pitchers—while contributing to day-to-day operations and overall player development.
