Augustana College Athletics

John Petrov joined the Augustana wrestling staff as an assistant coach in 2019. 

Petrov compiled a 146-20 record in high school and was a three-time Indiana state qualifier, highlighted by a sixth-place finish at the capstone state competition. During his collegiate career, Petrov grappled for the SIU-Edwardsville Cougars and received NCWA All-American recognition. 

Petrov previously coached at the youth and high school levels in Geneseo, Ill.
