B.J. McGhee brings a plethora of experience to the Augustana wrestling staff.
During his high school career, McGhee finished second and third at the Illinois state tournament before becoming state champion in 2013. He was also a three-time Cadet/Junior All-American at the Fargo National Tournament, finishing sixth, fourth, and eighth, respectively.
In his collegiate career, McGhee was a four-year starter for the Missouri Tigers, compiling a 74-49 career record with three Division I national tournament qualifications. He also became a Mid-American Conference (MAC) Champion in 2016.
McGhee stepped into the coaching realm as an assistant coach at SIU-Edwardsville from 2018-20 before joining the Augustana staff.
