Morgan McEnroe enters her 5th season as an assistant coach with the Vikings track & field team specializing in sprints and relays. Coach McEnroe was also elevated to the role of Digital Media Director along with her coaching duties in 2023.
McEnroe has a BA in Public Health and Spanish from Augustana College and a MS in Data Analytics from Butler University.
During her tenure at Augie, she has mentored over 50 conference champions and all-conference performers in events ranging from 60 meters thru 400 meters.
In 2022, Seth Sottos broke the 100m dash school record in 10.59 seconds. Sottos also holds top-10 performances in the 60m dash; 2nd – 6.93, indoor 200m dash; 4th – 21.58, and outdoor 200m dash; 7th – 22.31. Connor McBride joins Sottos in the top-10 all-time in the 60m dash; 7th – 7.07, indoor 200m dash; 8th – 22.37, and holds 10th place in the indoor 400m with a time of 50.29. Both Sottos and McBride secured a top-10 ranking of 8th place in the 4x100m relay in 2023 with their teammates Jason Smith and Braeden Clements, running a time of 41.51.
In 2023, McKenzie Reser ran herself to 3rd place all-time in the 60m Dash; 7.86, and 4th in the 200m dash indoors; 26.10. Reser also made her way to the top-10 all-time in the 100m dash holding 5th place with a 12.30 and 9th in the outdoor 200m dash in 25.40. In 2024, Reser was the CCIW Champion in the 60m dash; 7.78, and set the outdoor school records in the 100m dash; 11.93, and 200m dash; 24.34. Her school record in the 200m was set at the CCIW Outdoor Championships, where she finished 1st in the event. Reser was runner-up in both the 100m dash and in the 4x400m relay along with teammates Cora Deemer, Jordyn Van Santen, and Lina Maatouk.
Prior to coaching at Augie, McEnroe competed in the 200m and 400m for the Vikings. She was a 3-time letter winner with the program.
McEnroe is originally from Glen Ellyn, IL and now resides in the Quad Cities. Outside of her role at Augustana, McEnroe works for a local health system as a data analyst. She continues to enjoy running and racing in her free time.
