Everett Schwer enters his second season as an assistant coach for the Vikings track and field team specializing in javelin and the combined events. Schwer attended University of Dubuque where he was member of the track and field and football teams.
During his time as an athlete at University of Dubuque, Schwer competed in the heptathlon and decathlon where he became a letter winner and conference contributor. As a member of the UD Football team Schwer accumulated over 100 career tackles and was a key contributor to a conference championship team in 2015.
Everett is from Fennimore, Wis. where he resides with his wife, daughter, 3 dogs, and 1 cat. Outside of coaching he runs his own commercial/residential painting business and enjoys spending time on the farm with his family.
