Paige Kern joins the Vikings for her first season as an assistant coach in 2023, specializing in cross country and distance. Paige has a BA in Biology with minors in Public Health and Psychology from Augustana.Â
During her collegiate career, Paige was a a cross country athlete and competed in distance events ranging from the 1,500 to 5,000 meters. She was team captain for cross country in 2022 and track & field in 2023. Her favorite Augustana TFXC tradition is the senior lap and steeple pit bath at the Twilight meet.Â
Coach Kern is originally from Gilberts, Ill. and now lives and works in the Quad Cities.Â
