Morgan McEnroe enters her 7th season as an assistant coach with the Vikings track & field team in 2026-2027, specializing in strength and conditioning after coaching sprints and relays during her first six seasons. Coach McEnroe was also elevated to the role of Digital Media Director along with her coaching duties in 2023.
During her tenure at Augie, she has mentored 9 All-Americans, 15 conference champions, and 113 all-conference performers in sprints and relay events.
In 2022, Seth Sottos broke the 100m school record in 10.59. In 2024, McKenzie Reser broke the 100m school record in 11.93 and the 200m school record in 24.34.
In the 2025 indoor season, Reser broke school records in the 55m (7.03), the 60m (7.66), the 200m (24.49), the 300m (39.81), and the 400m (55.82). Lina Maatouk broke the school records in the 600m (1:35.14), the 800m (2:07.85), and the 1000m (2:56.54). Reser and Maatouk took part in the 4x400m relay, joined by Cora Deemer and Jordyn Van Santen, which set the school record in 3:52.56. The same season, AJ Banks set the school record in the 60m hurdles (8.27) and the distance medley relay (10:09.46) along with teammates Joe Gibbons, Daniel Prochaska, and Joe Langridge.
In the 2025 outdoor season, Reser reset her own school record in the 100m (11.80), and broke school records in the 200m (24.05) and 400m (54.07). Maatouk broke the school record in the 800m (2:06.72). Reser and Maatouk were again joined by Deemer and Van Santen to break the school record in the 4x400m relay (3:47.10) and the sprint medley relay (4:01.65). Reser, Deemer, Van Santen, and Shakira Wade broke the school record in the 4x200m relay (1:41.95).
Banks went on to break the school record in the 110m hurdles (14.30) and the shuttle hurdle relay (1:01.60) with teammates Bayley Pierce, Mike Hudson, and Brayden Veil.
In 2026, Banks reset his own 60m hurdle school record (8.26). Outdoor, Banks, Veil, Pierce, and Conner Calhoun reset the school record in the shuttle hurdle relay (1:00.95) and Tyreke Fortney broke the school record in the 100m (10.48).
In 2022 (indoor) and 2026 (outdoor), the coaching staff earned Men’s Coaching Staff of the Year accolades at the CCIW Championships.

Prior to coaching at Augie, McEnroe competed in the 200m and 400m for the Vikings, where she was a 3-time letter winner with the program. She has a BA in Public Health and Spanish from Augustana College, an MS in Data Analytics from Butler University, and holds a USA Weightlifting Level 1 certification.
McEnroe is originally from Glen Ellyn, IL, and now resides in the Quad Cities. Outside of her role at Augustana, McEnroe works for a local health system as a data analyst.
