Jarl Dahlgren will begin his fifth season as the catching coach for the Augustana Vikings’ baseball team this spring. Dahlgren began coaching with the Vikings as a volunteer in 2010 before being hired in 2012.
Dahlgren, 2010 Augustana graduate with a major in public administration, was a four year letter winner for the baseball team. In his senior season, Dahlgren played in 18 games, starting 11 of them. He had 15 hits in 38 at bats that season for a .395 batting average. He also had one double and drove in 6 runs.
Dahlgren currently works as the property manager for Genesis Health System in Davenport, Iowa.
