WHITEWATER, Wis. -- The Augustana Vikings women's tennis team finished seventh at the Warhawk Invitational on Saturday, facing DII, DIII, NAIA, and JUCO schools.

In doubles action, Kassidy Anderson and Analia Pazmino Cedeno secured an 8-5 victory over UW-Oshkosh. 

During singles play, Maripaz Ramirez earned a 6-0, 6-1 victory over an opponent from UW-Oshkosh, before earning a 2-6, 6-4 (9-11) win against UW-Eau Claire. Alejandra Estefania Casillas Velasco secured her first collegiate singles win against UW-Oshkosh with scores of 6-3, 6-0, and followed with another straight-sets victory with a score of 6-2, 7-5. Colleen Larry closed out singles action with a 6-3, 6-0 victory against UW-Oshkosh.

The Vikings will be back in action on Sept. 12 for the first CCIW matchup at Illinois Wesleyan.
