ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings men's golf team finished the CCIW Championships in second place out of nine teams. The Vikings jumped up two places after round three with a team round score of 299 for a total of 909. 

Liam Shannon led Augustana, shooting a two-under-par 70 in the final round to finish with a total score of 222 and place fifth individually. Clavin Short followed, tying for ninth after posting a 77 in the final round for a total of 225. Anis Rezzoug secured a top-20 finish, placing 14th with a final score of 228, including a 75 in round three. Patrick McGrath finished the three-day event with a total of 234, while Jacob Brokaw recorded a 247 over all three rounds.

Both Shannon and Short earned First Team All-Conference honors for their top-10 performances, while Rezzoug notched Second Team All-CCIW. Additionally, Noah Ehlenbach was the recipient of the CCIW RESPECT award. The Vikings record their best CCIW finish since the 2003-04 season.
