ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings men's golf team finished third out of nine teams on Thursday at the CCIW Preview. The Vikings earned a team score of 812, while the B team placed fifth with a score of 324.

Trey Hubner led the team with a round score of 76, finishing four over par and tied for third. Liam Shannon, Jacob Brokaw, and Camden Flack followed two strokes behind, each hitting 78 to tie for seventh. Thomas Fornelli, Patrick McGrath, and Calvin Short clinched a top-20 placement, with Fornelli carding a score of 80 while McGrath and Short hit 81.

Other finishers for Augie were Anis Rezzoug (82), Drake Stoudt (82), Justin Goebel (88), and Nathan Riha (90). 

The Vikings will be back in action on April 25-26 for the Viking Invitational.
