SPRINGFIELD, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings women's golf team finished the Millikin Spring Shootout in second place out of four teams on Wednesday. The Vikings finished with a team score of 325, just two shots behind North Central in first.

Riley Kinsella finished three shots over par for a total of 75, tying for first place. The freshman recorded four birdies and an eagle on the 15th hole, finishing the back nine at one under par. In her last four holes, she hit three under par. 

Lauren Reinertson and Georgia Holt followed in a tie for fifth with a round score of 83. Abby Buechele and Jama Burch were one shot behind with 84, placing them in a three-way tie for seventh. Madison Barnes clinched a top-10 finish with a score of 85, while Kami Jarvill closed the Vikings lineup with a 17th-place finish after hitting 94.

The Vikings will be back in action on April 25-26 for the season finale at Highland Springs for the Viking Invitational.
