ROCK ISLAND -- The Augustana Vikings men's tennis team secured a 6-1 victory over the Illinois Wesleyan Titans on Thursday. 

The Vikings swept all three doubles matches, starting with Aingeru Garcia and Jorge Marcelo, who secured a 6–4 win at the top spot. Santiago Diaz and Saman Rezaeyan followed with a 6–1 victory at No. 2, while Grant Meyers and Santiago Lazo capped the sweep with a 6–0 win at No. 3.

In singles play, Augie won all but one matchup. Rezaeyan posted a 6–2, 6–4 victory, and Marcelo followed with a 6–1, 6–1 win. At No. 4, Lazo dominated 6–1, 6–0, while Feldman earned a 6–1, 6–1 victory. Garcia closed out the event with a straight-sets win.

With the win, Augie improves to 8-9 on the season and will be back in action on April 18 to host Carroll.
