NORMAL, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings women's golf team finished the Kathy Niepagen Spring Fling on Sunday in 16th place out of 21 teams. The Vikings finished with a total score of 678, while the B team hit 708 over the two days.
SATURDAY
Riley Kinsella led the team with a round score of 79 to sit seven over par for an individual placement of 32nd. Madison Barnes and
Sarah Bond followed in a tie for 53rd with a round score of 82, while
Lydia Hall hit 83 on the day, and
Lauren Reinertson hit 84.
Other participants for Augie were
Georgia Holt (86),
Emma Vander Wall (86),
Abby Buechele (88),
Jama Burch (89), and
Kami Jarvill (93).
SUNDAY
Kinsella and Bond led the team in a tie for 58th with a final score of 168. Kinsella hit 89 on the day, while Bond shot 86. Reinertson finished in a tie for 71st after hitting a round score of 87 to sit at a final score of 171. Madison Barnes followed one shot behind for a score of 172 with round scores of 88 and 86.
Other finishers for Augie were Hall (174), Holt (175), Vander Wall (176), Burch (177), Buechele (181), and Jarvill (184).
The Vikings will be back in action on April 17-18 with a road trip to Wisconsin for the UWW Spring Invite.
