IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The Augustana Vikings women's tennis team conquered the Central Dutch on Wednesday by a score of 4-3.

The Vikings obtained the advantage after doubles action with a  2-1 outcome. Maripaz Ramirez and Hannah Colbert sealed the No. 1 spot with a score of 6-1, while Colleen Larry and Kassidy Anderson secured the No. 2 matchup 6-2.

In singles play, Colbert claimed the top spot 6-2 and 6-0, while Ramriez followed with two 6-2 set scores. Larry grabbed the points for Augie with scores of 6-2 and 6-3 in the No. 3 matchup to move the score to 4-0. The Dutch grabbed the final three contests, but the Vikings held the 4-3 advantage.

With the win, Augie improves to 6-7 on the season and will be back in action on April 8 at Lake Forest.
