SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. -- The Augustana Vikings men's golf team is in a tie for first after day one of the Music City Shootout. The Vikings sit alongside Rose-Hulman with a score of 259. The Vikings B team collected a score of 265, while the C team sits at 269.
Patrick McGrath leads the team with a round score of 60 to sit even with par. McGrath shot two birdies.
Liam Shannon followed in sixth, sitting two over par with a birdie and a round score of 62.
Calvin Short clinched a top-20 placement at 16th after shooting 65 in the opening round with a birdie on the 14th hole.
Jacob Brokaw shot eight over with a score of 72, while
Anis Rezzoug sits at 68 in round one.
