HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. -- The Augustana men's tennis team dropped both matchups on day two of spring break. In the first match, Augie fell to the DePauw Tigers 6-1 before dropping 7-0 to Oberlin.

Match One 

The Tigers grabbed the advantage early after securing all three doubles matchups. In singles play, Santiago Diaz was awarded the No. 1 spot after his opponent retired from the match. DePauw claimed the other five spots to secure the 6-1 victory. 

Match Two

The Vikings grabbed the No. 1 doubles spot with Aingeru Garcia Acebo and Jorge Marcel Escribano, who overcame their opponents 7⁷-6³, but Oberlin grabbed the other two to lead 1-0. In singles play, Obelin secured all matches to claim the 7-0 win.

With the two losses, Augie moves to 4-6 on the season and will be back in action tomorrow to battle Oberlin.
