TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Augustana Vikings men's golf team finished fifth at the Great Lakes Intercollegiate on Sunday, while the B team secured a tie for sixth.
Calvin Short led the team with an astonishing performance over the weekend, hitting just one over par for a total of 143. The freshman sat even after the first round with a score of 71 and followed with a round two score of 72 to tie in fifth.Â
Anis Rezzoug followed in a three-way tie at 14th after hitting 74 and 72 for a total of 146. Three Vikings placed in a tie for 25th, with
Vaughn Henagan,
Liam Shannon, and
Jacob Brokaw finishing the two-day event with a score of 149. Henagan shot 76 on day one and 73 in round two, while Shannon and Brokaw hit round scores of 75 and 74.Â
