EAU CLAIRE, Wis. -- The Augustana Vikings men's wrestling team wrapped up day one of the NCAA Regional No. 7 with two advancing in their respective weight classes. 


Braiden Young earned two wins in the 197 weight division to sit in the semifinals. The senior earned two falls over his opponents against Lakeland and St. John (Minn.). In the 165 weight category, Jack Miller picked up a sudden victory in his opening round before moving to the consolation bracket. The junior secured his second win over MSOE with an 8-7 decision.

The Vikings will be back in action tomorrow for the second day of the event.
