KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Augustana Vikings men's tennis team fell to the Kalamazoo Hornets by a score of 6-1. 

In doubles action, Augie earned the 1-0 lead after earning two wins at No. 2 and No. 3. Santiago Diaz and Saman Rezaeyan earned a score of 7-5 at No. 2, while Grant Meyers and Santiago Lazo won the No. 3 matchup 6-2.

Kalamazoo took the advantage in singles play with wins in all matchups. At No. 1, Diaz won the second set 6-2 to force an extra set, but fell 1-6, 6-2, and 3-6. Meyers also played three sets with scores of 0-6, 6-2, and 3-10.

After the weekend, Augie moves to 2-2 on the season and will be back in action on March 7 at Coe.
