NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Cameron Wiklund and
John Kucala of the Augustana Vikings men's swimming & diving team claimed both CCIW Men's Swimming & Diving Weekly honors.
At the Augie Invite over the weekend, Wiklund recorded three lifetime bests. The first year
posted a lifetime-best time of 1:58.23 in the 200-yard individual medley and finished the
400-yard individual medley in 4:18.24. Wiklund also recorded a lifetime best in the 100-yard
butterfly with a time of 52.92 and posted a lifetime best of 24.77 in the 50-yard backstroke leg of
the 200-yard medley relay.
Kucala highlighted the men's diving competition, earning first-place finishes in both the 1-meter
and 3-meter events. The first year recorded a winning score of 243.45 on the 1-meter board and
completed the sweep with a score of 205.10 on the 3-meter board.
