IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Some members of the Augustana Vikings men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Larry Wieczorek Invitational on Friday, alongside athletes in Division I and II. 

On the men's side, Daniel Prochaska set a personal record and a new Division III best at No. 75, clocking 1:25.92 in the 600-meter event. In field events, Landon Wierenga sits at No. 11 in Division III after a personal record of 17.81 meters in the weight throw, while Evan Santilli threw 16.07 meters. 

For the women, Norah Wright crossed the finish line fifth in the 600-meter race with a time of 1:48.54. In field events, finished ninth in the weight throw after a distance of 15.60 meters, which is good for a personal record and No. 35 in Division III. 

Both teams will continue competition tomorrow at the Hilltop Invitational in Mount Vernon, Iowa.
