ROCK ISLAND -- The Augustana Vikings women's bowling team defeated the Edgewood Eagles by a final score of 3-1, with game scores of 861-668, 736-745, 810-647, and 730-652.
In game one of traditional play, the Vikings won 861-668.
Molly Singleton led the team with 194 pins, while
Kathryn Edwards knocked down 180.
Cassie Kontos followed with 175 pins, and
Anna Ricci scored a 171. In the second game, Augie lost 745-736. Kontos led in the matchup with a score of 182, while Edwards scored 174.Â
In Baker format, Augustana won the first matchup 810-647.
Ana Zeglis led with a score of 181 in game two, while her opponent rolled 122. Kontos followed with 168 in game five, while Edwards scored 162. In the second match, the Vikings won 730-652. Ricci led with 163 pins, while Sarai Robinson knocked down 151 pins and Edwards rolled 147.
The Vikings will be back in action on Jan. 23-25 for the D3 Central Invite hosted in Lansing, Mich.Â
