ROCK ISLAND -- The Augustana Vikings JV men's golf team defeated the St. Ambrose Fighting Bees on Wednesday by a score of 290-311.

Weston Gain led the Vikings, shooting three under par for a final score of 69 to earn medalist honors. Kaden Fisher followed with a round score of 72, while Nishalya Rayamajhi hit 74 on the day. Jakob Stefanowicz finished the final nine holes with four birdies to score a 75 and tie for fourth. Trace Donnan also finished with five birdies on his scorecard. 

Other finishers for Augie were Ryan Crowe (77), Teague Mayer (77), Steven Kitzman (77), Donnan (78), Tom Fornelli (78), and Rodrigo Sanchez Serrano (79).

The Vikings will be back in action on Oct. 6-7 for the Central Invitational in Pella, Iowa.
