ROCK ISLAND -- The Augustana Vikings women's tennis team picked up its third consecutive conference win on Tuesday, defeating the Millikin Big Blue by a score of 7-0. 

The Vikings were victorious in all double matchups, with Hannah Colbert and Colleen Larry securing the No. 1 spot with a final score of 6-1. In the No. 2 spot, Maripaz Ramirez and Anna-Maria Huebel picked up a 6-2 win, while Natasha Gauerke and Maitreyi Shrikhande won No. 3 due to a walkover. 

In the single matchups, Augie picked up wins in all meetings. Colbert and Ramirez earned a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 1 and No. 2, while Huebel secured the No. 3 spot with a score of 6-1, 5-7. Larry defeated her opponent in No. 4 with set scores of 6-2 and 6-1; Gauerke won in straight sets with 6-0 and 6-0. Maddy Harned finished at the No. 6 spot with a walkover by Millikin to sweep the Big Blue. 

The Vikings will be back in action on Sept. 19-20 for the ITA Regional Championships in St. Louis, Mo.
